The Hughenden Boutique Hotel, a 4-star heritage residence built in 1878 in sophisticated Woollahra suburb, occupies a former Masonic hall, nurses' home, dance hall and college for young ladies. Staying at The Hughenden was a glimpse into historic charm, with spacious rooms and a great location near Woollahra's vibrant cafes and boutiques. While the ambiance was delightful, I did find some areas in need of attention, especially the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Overall, it's a very comfortable place to stay, but it could benefit from a little renovation and upkeep to match its premium pricing.
